U.K. Ad Authority Bans Second iPhone Ad

For the second time (the first was in August), the U.K.'s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has banned an ad for the iPhone.

The first ad was banned over "false claims" regarding the prowess of the iPhone's browser. This one has been banned for "exaggerating the speed of the iPhone 3G."

Re: U.K. Ad Authority Bans Second iPhone Ad

I wonder if they will ban the one showing now.
Mostly about the ipod shop (aka itunes), with the use of the iphone. At the bottom of the screen they do have a warning that the speed is not the real one, but how many people read what they see on tv? While I can understand the practical reasons to make an ad such as this, time contrains/cost, it is false advertising. Then again, I have yet to go to a fast food burger place and get any burger that is even remotely of the same size and "freshness" as the ones advertised.
