As if we didn't know it already, the National Bureau of Economic Research has officially confirmed that the economy is in a recession. So heading into the new year, how will technology fare in what is an increasingly uncertain era?

at what point in time do we need to have some government official or finiacial official tell the people in mass when we are or are not in specific states...

Seriously, at some point it's going to get to the point where we'll be told when we can or cannot eat or something.
