I heard last night that a large portion of the UK AMD team has been paid off.

To protect the individuals it is best not to report names, however I wish them all the very best in the future, we have enjoyed working with them over the years.

The recession is really hitting the marketplace hard and it really painful to hear of people getting made redundant just before the holidays.

Here's to a brighter and happier 2009 !

Wow this time of year would make something like that even more difficult to contend with. I wish all the remaining AMD/ATI staff all the best and hope they survive the cuts if any more follow
