Survey: Nearly Half of Women Would Pick the Internet Over Sex
A recent survey, "Internet Reliance in Today's Economy" conducted by Harris Interactive for Intel, found that most U.S. adults find Internet access essential to daily life, so essential that some would choose it over TV ... or sex.

As I commented on another site, this survey would be more meaningful if it also included the percentage of the population which doesn't have sex regularly.

Going by some old (1990's) surveys I found at The Kinsey Institute - Sexuality Information Links - FAQ [Related Resources], a significant percentage of the population isn't having sex regularly (that is, has none at all, or just several time a year), which would suggest it's easy for them to "give up" sex for the internet.
