A computer revolution through a child's eyes
I have proof from an expert that the iPhone interface really is better. Who's the expert? My 3-year-old son.
Over the years, I've seen countless newbies struggle to use the latest gadget, computer, or software. I like new technology, but it's been work hauling myself up learning curves. _____________ Source: Underexposed |

Re: A computer revolution through a child's eyes
... or isn't that just saying how dumbed down the iPhone interface really is?
Not being able to change the backdrop; change instant messaging backgrounds; change anything, really, the iPhone has everything locked down so THAT a toddler can use it without breaking it. It's not science, the iPhone was created for an idiot to be able to use it without complaining. It just sucks that when an advanced user touches the iPhone, they can't help but wonder, "Why when they hold it up, do they get to have different backgrounds behind the icons?" ... Oh right, we CAN have that... when we void the warranty and jailbreak the thing. So yes, back to the point; a toddler has no choice BUT to learn how to use it. Every icon leads to something. Every tap of the keyboard leads to "Eesfrrgjlphdvlksxnjjktwsdvnjmmkbvvnn" -- no, it's not intelligence that a bird discovers a window by smashing into it. Get over it. |
