Twitter's Celebrity Account Hack: A Study in Weak Passwords
Yesterday a number of high-profile, celebrity Twitter accounts were hacked, including Barack Obama, Britney Spears, Fox News, and more. According to Twitter, 33 accounts were hacked, but it apparently all started with a weak password in an administrator's account.

Re: Twitter's Celebrity Account Hack: A Study in Weak Passwords
OK, now I have to think of new passwords for all of the websites I am affiliated with; which is a bunch.... Password checker says my password is medium, I beg to differ but it's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to the internet. Oh and that kid just ruined the rest of his life by doing something so stupid. Some things you don't get second chances at.

Re: Twitter's Celebrity Account Hack: A Study in Weak Passwords
some of those password checkers are kinda sad ..... considering one of my more simple passwords got a rating of extremely high when i figured it wouldn't nearly get that.
but then again, it has 16 digits and a spelling mistake with a single number in it as well
