YouTube Begins Muting Unauthorized Copyrighted Music
YouTube has come up with a solution for copyrighted music in videos that doesn't involve pulling the whole video. Apparently, they've just instituted a new policy whereby they mute any copyrighted music from any unauthorized video.

This is pretty funny. I'm glad they decided to just mute audio instead of also dropping the video. I wonder if the audio is disabled by the youtube player or if they actually modified the flv. And do they keep the original?
