The Macintosh Turns 25

January 24, 1984 was the day the Macintosh first went on sale. It was the first commercially successful personal computer to feature a mouse and a graphical user interface rather than a command line interface, and it promised to revolutionize personal computing.

Wierd. I was born in 1983, and when I was 5 years old our schools still used IIe's.

Re: The Macintosh Turns 25

My school had these super old mac's and I was never a fan of them because they were just total junk and at that time we could not play games on them lol.

we had another computer for that with those big 5 1/2" disks (thinks that what they were lol).

Both were before we had the internet lol.

I guess you could say those were the "safest" computers ever haha.
