In the summer of 2005, the casino industry was abuzz with excitement over what was then seen as the next great thing--server-based gaming, a major technological shift in how slot machines work.

Reading some of that made me think about "Dream Park" - Nivens & Barnes. Great book. I remember all the betting on the IFGS games. I wonder how much longer it will be before vegas sees something like this. Combine larping with Survivor and gambling. Talk about the money potential there...
