Re: An Inside Look Into The New Windows 7 Experience Index! (2/28 Update)
im probably wrong, but i have the feeling they are getting fed directly from ms.
i still dont get the correlation from their article to 09 release of win7. & saying ms is rushing it to market makes no sense on any level. i can see ms being in a hurry, but this os needs to be released with as few problems as possible to have any hope of legitamacy. this really need to be their best os launch to date. other wise pushing win7 publicly & slowing vista sales makes no sense. jmo. i really dont understand ms marketing. the best thing they could have done was t okeep pushing/developing vista & kept win7 development low key with 011 target. this wouldhave pushed more of the fence sitters into buying what is, imo, an excellent os. this would have been revenue. around mid 09 the ycould have anounced, hey! win7 is lookin good & agead of schedule look like early 2010 is going to be release time! woot!! by doing this the ywouldhave increased thei r revenue stream iwth more vista purchases, plus made the win7 upgrade path much easier as more peeps would own vista instead of xp(apparently going from xp to win7 is going. but wtf do i know. their way of doing things makes no sense t ome sometimes, but their are the 500lb gorilla in software for a reason
