Amazon.com Releases Kindle E-Reader iPhone App

When Amazon.com announced the Kindle 2, they also announced Whispersync, which they quite pointedly said would work with Kindle, Kindle 2 and future mobile devices. That hinted at already-rumored Kindle e-reader software for mobile devices, and that promise will come to fruition on Wednesday, when Amazon.com releases an app for --- what else --- the iPhone.

Personally, I think this is a great thing, but then again, I have an iPhone

Bad move for Amazon, at least for their hardware sales.
