Techseekers.net has had a look at the OCZ EL DDR PC-3700 / 466mhz / Gold Edition memory. With a default speed of 466MHz @ CAS2 and room for 500MHz @ CAS2.5 is this the memory you have been waiting for?

"In short, this memory does exactly what its specified to do, and then some. DDR500 is quite impressive and with the modern 875P and 865PE boards being able to achieve high FSB speeds, the OCZ PC3700 Gold is right at home. Because this memory is rated to work at this speed at 2.75V it does do away with the need to do Vmods and such, running high DIMM voltages to squeeze the most out of your memory setup. The main disadvantage of this type of memory is trying to find the hardware to keep up with it. The cost is a bit high but if you have to have the absolute fastest PC around and you have the rest of the kit to match the I would recommend this memory."
