A closed beta of Microsoft Office 14 seems to indicate that a 64-bit version of the software may become available when the suite launches.

That's cool.

I don't want to say I don't want to see it, but somehow I just don't see a full benefit in 64 bit office lol. Really Office 07 runs super fast as is

But good to see everything going 64 bit!!!

heavy caculations in a complex excel sheet spreading multiple sheets.... this could have major benefits if used as a database as well.


but seriously.. everything should be going 64bit.... the least microsoft can do is make their own products 64bit native
