Samsung Electronics is considering launching an 15.6-inch RGB LED-backlit notebook panel in the second half of 2009 for high-end ultra-thin notebooks, according to market sources. The sources commented that RGB LED offers better color saturation, but the prices of notebooks adopting it for backlighting remain a concern.

this is good.... maybe we'll have a PC based machine that can contend with macs led backlit books
