Stephen Hawking, renowned theoretical physicist, mathematician, and author of the best-seller "A Brief History of Time," has been hospitalized at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, and is said to be "very ill."

Here's to hoping for a recovery, but he's been fighting a disease that usually kills within 3-5 years so you can't really know.
