Windows Vista Service Pack 2's Latest Release Schedule Rev. 4.1
We have news of the upcoming Service Pack 2 for Windows Vista! Microsoft is doing their best to rush out Service Pack 2 for Windows Vista so there will be additional incentive for folks to upgrade to Window Vista now, instead of waiting for Windows 7.

The thing with this is the RC has more or less been announced for Win7. So by the time this Vista SP2 is released who is going to want it?

I am... been running vista x64 since it went RTM. I had an MSDN account at that time so I have been running vista since before it was available to the public.

Yeah, but generally, SP2 and onwards is for people running the OS, not for people who aren't running it.

How many people switched to XP once SP2 came out? Probably a similar number as will be switching to Vista once SP2 comes out.

Good point

In either case I will continue running 32 bit and 64 bit Vista as XP ATM is the only OS of the 3 I have stopped using.
