Gainward and Palit blast AMD for their GPU product policy

Recently, a lot of media grabbed attention at the decision brought forward by PALIT and its subsidiaries. We can reveal that it is not just Gainward that is considering ditching the ATI lineup, it's the whole PALIT Group. Given the fact that the Palit Group [Palit, Palit Multimedia, Gainward, Galaxy] is one of world's largest manufacturers of graphics cards, these words should be taken with caution by all people in the graphics chain.

while not the same as what intel did to them in eu(i still have issues with that ruling), it is similar- do what we say or get less/no product.
while amd has a right to determine what happens with their products(dont know what the bussiness model is but you would think the purchaser of those products has rights to do whatever with what they purchased) singling out a distributor because their products are possibly better performing than other, bigger partners is a little hinky to me.

This is not a good way to treat your partners. That said, friendships are rare in business, so I can understand AMD's giving a preferential status to those makers who built boards with their chips even when they weren't the "hottest" ones in the market.

i think they should let there partners do what they want with those gpu so not all the cards are the same...
