Smaller is Better with Creative Webcam Notebook
This July Creative will release the WebCam Notebook. Creative's smallest ever WebCam will cost £39.99 -- see more info below;
Creative (Nasdaq: CREAF), the worldwide leader in digital entertainment products for the personal computer and the Internet, today announces the tiny WebCam Notebook, Creative's smallest ever WebCam. Available in July, the WebCam Notebook will cost £39.99inc VAT. Designed to meet the needs of notebook users who want to videoconference on the go, the WebCam Notebook attaches to notebook displays using a special spring-loaded clip and is about the size of an AA battery - small enough to fit into a notebook PC travel case. With a tiny form factor, it comes with its own carrying case and a special loop that keeps its USB cable rolled-up when not in use. "We kept today's notebook user in mind when designing the Creative WebCam Notebook," explains Geraldine Lee, European brand manager for WebCams with Creative. "It travels well thanks to its compact size and carrying case, and it delivers high-quality video with its true VGA CMOS sensor. It enables business travellers to enjoy on-line meetings and keep in touch with their families - all without carrying around a bulky camera." The Creative WebCam Notebook features a genuine VGA (640x480) sensor for bigger, bolder snapshots, which users can share via email. As with all of Creative's WebCam products, the Creative WebCam Notebook comes bundled with software for videoconferencing, video instant messaging, motion-detection security, and image storage and on-line sharing.
