IGEL Universal Desktops first to be Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager

IGEL Technology, the world's third largest thin client vendor (2008 by revenue, IDC), today announced that its Windows Embedded Standard Universal Desktops were the first thin clients to be Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager-ready (SCCM). The solution removes a major barrier for large enterprises using SCCM, helping them to deploy and manage IGEL thin clients using their existing management software. Microsoft’s Windows Embedded Standard is the first thin client operating system to be approved by Microsoft for use with the SCCM.
