Heh you're too damn nice Terry. Don't worry about it though, I got a Radeon out of it all, so I'm happy.

Hey did you go to the sessions today/yesterday? What did I miss. I only got 3 hours sleep and had to catch my flight back to Toronto

They had the Athlon 64 notebook there running UT2003, and well... it looked suprisingly like 32-bit UT2003 . But it ran great, of course, and Dave's step son said the maps had extra stuff in them or something. They also had an Opteron server sitting up there.

Anyway, they just talked about the architecture and stuff like that.

It wasn't as full as the ATI & THG sessions.

I think it was missing the zboard guy being so happy throwing out t-shirts while everyone else was tired. (2am)

In case you didnt know Terry, we (Andrew & I) thought it was funny how tired all the sponsors looked, while that zboard guy seemed all excited with throwing out tshirts.

I doubt I'll ever use one, I've got a nice Microsoft Natural Multimedia keyboard that I love, plus I wouldn't shell out 20$ for every new game I want to play that with. Plus after awhile I won't play those games anymore & now that 20$ keyboard is useless for me.

Man, how many cards did you give away this weekend?!? Damn, you got yourself a fun job at times!

Speaking of AMD.....if you see your AMD buds could you see if they have any 2500+'s or DDRAM around? I got rid of me GF3 & GF4 and traded for an nForce2 board to do this 9700 some justice, but the wife has clamped down on me budget entirely and I'm going nuts looking at this MSI K7N2-L sitting in the box begging me to put it in!!!

I hope you had as good a time as you've made everyone else there have who had the good fortune to bump into ya, please have a great last day there and enjoy the hell out of yourself!

(BTW-Does the PR board specialist job ATi is hiring for have any possibility of being worked at home? )
