TRENDnet, a best-in-class wired and wireless networking hardware brand, today announces Microsoft 'Compatible with Windows® 7' certification for TRENDnet's 150Mbps Mini Wireless N USB Adapter, model TEW-648UB.
Consumers will notice the 'Compatible with Windows® 7' logo on TRENDnet's TEW-648UB webpage. Additional TRENDnet products scheduled to secure 'Compatible with Windows® 7' certification include the following:
  • TEW-671BR: 300Mbps Concurrent Dual Band Wireless N Router
  • TEW-654TR: 300Mbps Wireless N Travel Router Kit
  • TEW-652BRP: Wireless N Home Router
  • TEW-651BR: 150Mbps Wireless N Home Router

  • TEW-649UB: Mini Wireless N Speed USB Adapter
The highly anticipated October 22nd launch of the Microsoft Windows® 7 platform offers a plethora of new features designed to improve the user experience at home, on the road, and online. Windows® 7 offers significant performance gains, new power saving controls, and an innovative media center experience that is aligned with consumer migration towards on demand media. The new HomeGroup feature takes the headache out of sharing files and printers on a home network.

"Over 75% of TRENDnet's networking hardware solutions are Operating System independent. That is, they are compatible with and operate independently of the given operation system which they are networked to," stated Zak Wood, Director of Global Marketing for TRENDnet. "With that in mind, TRENDnet is dedicated to the goal of ensuring our networking hardware solutions leverage new Windows® 7 features to deliver the best possible user experience."
