QNAP and Hikvision Announce Cooperation to Provide Class-leading Network Surveillance

QNAP Security and Hikvision Digital Technology today announced that Hikvision network cameras are supported by QNAP VioStor series network video recorders (NVR). Worldwide users can now benefit from the high performance of Hikvision's network cameras and QNAP's world-class PC-less NVR solutions.

Along with the latest 3.1.1 firmware released in October, the VioStor NVR offer revolutionary features including Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA), generic IP camera integration by CGI command, digital watermarking, SMS alert, multi-server monitoring, etc. The firmware is available for free download by all existing QNAP NVR users from QNAP's official website. It will be pre-installed in all new VioStor NVR models.
"QNAP is proud to announce this technical synergy with Hikvision. We constantly expand our NVR compatibility with worldwide network camera brands. Hikvision has 30 years of experience in research and development of video technology. We believe our cooperation will offer our users more choices to set up their surveillance systems," said Andrew Yu, Product Manager of QNAP Security.

"Hikvision is dedicated to providing top-notch products and solutions to the market. The partnership with QNAP will allow more customers to enjoy prime video quality from Hikvision's network cameras and the ease of operation from QNAP's NVR products," commented Tony Yang, International Marketing Director of Hikvision.
