EU Publishes Digital VAT FAQ

Today, July 1st, sees the beginning of a new VAT regime, which will see the tax applied to all digital services delivered to people within the EU, regardless of where the services are supplied. The European Commission has published a FAQ which attempts to address concerns over red tape, expense, supposed inequities between vendors within and without the EU. The document also contains the occasional sideswipe against opponents of the new regime.
