ATI IXP Southbridge family now supports USB2.0

ATI Technologies announced that its IXP family of Southbridges for RADEON 9100 IGP now include USB2.0 PHY from Soft Mixed Signal Corporation.

Until this moment ATI has been bundling its Northbridges with VIA 686B or ALi M1525+. And only the chosen have seen ATI's Southbridges (just joking).

Well, actually IXP 150, IXP 200 and IXP 250 solutions will arrive to the market already this summer in boards from ASUS, Compal, C.P. Technology, FIC, Gigabyte, Lite-On, MSI, PC Partner, Quanta, Shuttle and Sapphire. Besides up to 6 x USB2.0 ports, ATI IXP will support 10/100 Ethernet (3COM), 5.1-ch. audio.
