Default Post AMD going from strength to strength

It seems there is no stopping AMD lately, as two more companies sign to the AMD standards camp, with Zeus the internet server OS signing up to write 64 bit extensions for Opteron with VIA also enlisting for the HyperTransport protocol brigade. This certainly will lend great credibility to AMD in their attempts to gain market share in the server market, as opposed solely to being a chip manufacturer.

VIA has already gone on the record in its support for AMD Opteron. Now it's gone a step further in becoming a member of the HyperTransport Technology Consortium.

Excellent post! In my eyes, AMD does not need to "prove themselves" They already have.

I am sure that I am not the only one that feels this way.
