CTX announces 17" M730V LCD monitor with a built-in webcam and mic

CTX International Inc. announced the first monitor featuring a built-in camera and a mic, enabling easier video conferencing. 17" M730V also features surround speakers, supports "picture-in-picture".

The monitor has analog and DVI connectors, 3-port USB2.0 hub and supports S-VHS and composite video. Its response time is 16ms, viewing angle — 160°, contrast — 450:1, max. resolution – 1280x1024.

The monitor is scheduled to retail to September 2003, its MSRP is about $1000.
