Nvidia Intros Dual-GPU Card Next Month?
"Nvidia is supposedly releasing a dual-GPU card next month to rival AMD's similar offering.
... Based on a 40-nm fabrication process, the currently unannounced GTX 590 will reportedly come packed with two GF110 GPUs with 512 CUDA cores each, totaling 1024 CUDA cores. The card will also feature a 2 x 384-bit memory interface, 3 GB of GDDR5 memory and support for DirectX 11." ____________ Source: Tomshardware

Re: Nvidia Intros Dual-GPU Card Next Month?
With aftermarket cooling, this thing should be an overclocking monster... fully fledged GTX580 parts, probably binned above the 580 to allow for lower power consumption...
Power consumption, noise and temperatures will be insane, of course

Re: Nvidia Intros Dual-GPU Card Next Month?
I would be sad, but I don't trust dual GPU cards xP
Can't wait to see how the red camp beats this.

Re: Nvidia Intros Dual-GPU Card Next Month?
This will have to be further underclocked than the 6990, judging by the power consumption of the single GPU equivalents.
