If you haven’t heard of Zalman before then you won’t know that they specialise in products that try to lower the noise of your computer while maintaining adequate cooling levels. We have seen their heatpipe
VGA cooler before and found it to give satisfactory levels of cooling for those with a good level of airflow in their case. Being a passive cooler means that it relies upon you case fans to pull cool air into the case and then remove the hot air. The problem with passive coolers is when you have very little air movement in your case be it because you have watercooling or just don’t want much noise from your computer.
At this point I must introduce the new version of the
VGA Cooler which aims to give better cooling for the latest generation of graphics card and offers the option to increase performance with an easy to mount fan.
