2003 is a great year for Polaroid since they have a new department which handles the making of their first digital cameras lineup. Polaroid was and still is a great brand in photography making. But something lacked in their product line, something “digital”. Digital photography has taken a lot of ground in the past years and that is why Polaroid urgently needed to enter this market.
The company behind Polaroid digital cameras is World Wide Licenses Limited (WWL). WWL is granted exclusive rights to manufacture and sell digital cameras under the Polaroid brand. The license agreement between the two companies was signed for a few years and 2003 is the first year when we shall see first Polaroid digital cameras.
Their goal is to become one of the largest digital cameras suppliers in the world and one of the best too. Therefore do not wonder if you will see WWL next to Polaroid brand.
