Hannibal confirmed for November launch

Arxel Tribe has confirmed today the official launch date of its upcoming investigation thriller, Hannibal. Set in most territories for the 20/11/2003 on PC, the game has entered internal beta stage last week. An official demo version shall be made available by the end of August. Based on the eponymous movie by Ridley Scott, HANNIBAL-THE GAME is a first person Action/Investigation developed for the PC. You embody Agent Clarice Starling, an FBI agent on the deadly track of Dr. Hannibal Lecter. The game is divided into 6 different levels, all of which are reconstitutions or extrapolations based on the movie's key sceneries.

The Investigation part will enable the player to experience the duties of a real FBI agent : infiltrate, arrest, interrogate, analyse forensic evidence, etc….

The many action sequences are played in a highly detailed scripted FPS mode. Clarice will have various weapons at her disposal. She will have to be particularly careful in her modus operandi when she will be faced with dangerous criminals or Dr. Lecter himself…

HANNIBAL - THE GAME is developed on the NOLF2 engine developed by Lithtech. The game will feature a wide range of innovative technologies, developed in-house, such as our particle effects system (already present in our RPG MISTMARE) and an exclusive function that will affect the player's visibility and sensorial capacities, in connection with the characters' stress level.

You will enter his inner world by collecting some of his inestimable belongings or related items during your investigations. Discover what really happened to Dr. Chilton and Will Graham. Learn why and how Lecter's mind turned from normality to madness…

Watch out! You're a special agent 24 hours a day! Do not let minor offenders flee away! All along your journey, you will be in a position to arrest some of the FBI's most wanted criminals. Even if they are not connected with the Hannibal case, they have to be neutralized and interrogated. Even the most seemingly irrelevant account may finally turn out to be essential. Cross-examine suspects, collect DNA samples, ask for autopsies and forensic analysis to dismantle gangs, confound white-collar felons or solve pending criminal enigmas…
