So now Twitter's lost it's backbone, I must admit i thought it suspicious when they didn't hop straight on the "F--- SOPA" bandwagon, Twitter's usually the first site to mouth off about threats to freedom of speech

this whole twitter censorship thing is nowhere near as clear cut as some sensationalist headlines would have you believe

just for starters, they have agreed that they will never remove a tweet unless there is a direct request from the DMCA
that, in itself, is a surprisingly fair allowance for a big tech company in the modern world
i mean you can tweet whatever the hell you like, and so long as you don't p!ss off the DMCA, twitter won't remove your tweets

that's not exactly the diabolical country wide censorship some headlines have been screaming about tbh
