Novell NetWare 6.5

Novell today announced the August availability of Novell(R) NetWare(R) 6.5, advanced network services for business on the industry's most secure and reliable platform. A Novell Nterprise(TM) product, NetWare 6.5 includes business continuity, open source, Web application services and "virtual office" capabilities to reduce network costs and complexity while giving users around-the-clock access to the tools they need to be productive.

NetWare 6.5 provides business services that work with all types of networks, storage systems and client desktops. Novell recently announced the availability later this year of Novell Nterprise Linux Services, which extends many of the network services in NetWare 6.5 to Linux servers. NetWare 6.5 is a key steppingstone as customers prepare for future NetWare versions when all NetWare features will also run on Linux.

Pricing and Availability NetWare 6.5 will be available Aug. 15 through Novell Authorized Resellers(SM) and solution providers. Upgrade pricing for NetWare 6.5 is available to current NetWare customers and those migrating from competitive products.
