If someone would contact me, I can setup a link, I'm on a dual DS3. That's 90 mbits. Very very fast...so someone PM me or message me on AIM (screen name: eco) and we can set everything up.

the naked truth of it is, there's a few hundred people hammering the refresh button on their browsers, drooling to be the first ones to get on the servers as they're brought up.

I imagine the DH webserver is starting to feel a slight strain from the refresh load.

The load is a bit high, but it's managing.

You should see the refresh load on ceruleanstudios' website whenever AOL decides to block Trillian...it's insane. It's almost a willful DDOS, only without the groovy chocolate sprinkles.

Think I'll read a little S*P while the servers propagate.

just so y'all know, opera has a nice option for auto-reload (its a web browser, http://www.opera.com ). u right-click, go to "Reload Every ->", follow the arrow and pick from any amount of time. very useful for people with sore fingers from clicking on refresh like madmen... im set to 15 seconds out of courtesy so i don't add to the strain on dh's servers...

Handy tip, but it's more entertaining to sit there and bang on the control-R keyboard combo like some crazed, Energizer-driven cymbal-bashing monkey who's had far too much caffeine.

Besides, it's cheap entertainment, and it's not contagious or s**ually transmittable

Yep, sounds about right.

I'm bored, S*P hasn't updated with today's strip, and I'm looking at about 90 minutes before my download finishes. I think I'll go mow the couch.

so whats your poison of choice ? Coke, Pepsi, Coffee, Tea, Guarana-based something, Yerba Mate, Jolt, Surge, Jolt Expresso (yes, 120mg per can... pm me if you want a store to get it or these others), Chai, Caffeine Tablets, Caffeinated Mints, Caffeinated Cookies, Caffeinated Soap (again, pm me if curious), Intraveinous Caffeine Drip... personally, i find nothing quite competes with a 2liter of coke next to the computer

I prefer Diet Coke. All the caffeine, without the sugar. Avoids having to eat Pepcid too.

I do miss Jolt Cola tho
