754 pin Gigabyte Athlon 64 boards get outing

THE BOYS AT AKIHABARA PC Hotline are beginning to see 754-pin motherboards making an appearance in their neighbourhood.

There's three samples of Gigabyte boards up on their site. A dual board Opteron board with AGP and supporting DDR 400 can be found here, with a spec sheet prominently placed at the front.

Then there's a socket 754 board, the GA-K8NNXP, which uses the Nvidia Crush chipset, and which you can find here.

Then there's a 754 pin board, the GA-K8VNXP which uses a Via Athlon 64 chipset, and which you can find here.

The main story which links these pictures can be found here, in Japanese. Thanks to our reader Skip for noticing these items.
