Thanks to Brewskie over at Half Life News we got a chance to talk to Valve about certain aspects of their upcoming game: Half Life 2.

In short, release dates were not discussed, but they did discuss that AA problems were solved, and there will be a benchmark system released before the game release. They also talked about a comprehensive demo playback control and camera movement in recorded demos. You can read the chat log here.
