Headsets For PC Gaming
Sennheiser Communications, a division of Sennheiser Electronic Corporation located in Old Lyme, Connecticut, is introducing a new range of headsets ideal for PC gaming, PC communications and voiceover IP applications that brings legendary Sennheiser headphone sound and reliability to sophisticated multi-media users.
"The PC-Gaming market is ready for high-end headsets," noted Bill Whearty, VP of Sennheiser's Telecommunications Division. "Gamers have grown tired of headsets that fall apart, headsets that sound muddy, headsets with inferior almost toy-like microphones. Gamer beta testers concur that while the Sennheiser headsets are priced a little higher than the popular brand, their performance and longevity make them a cost-effective choice." All five of the new Sennheiser PC models provide premium audio reproduction and total comfort in a sleek, polished stainless-steel, industrial-looking design high-tech enthusiasts will immediately embrace. Included in the PC-headset range are an ergonomic in-ear version and an over-the-ear design. Models also included are three binaural, noise-canceling headsets featuring either an open or closed headband or a behind the neck version, virtually eliminating ambient noise, leaving only crystal-clear sound. All feature two 3.5mm stereo jacks for industry standard sound cards, while the two compact in-ear and over-the-ear designs also offer a 2.5mm jack connection for DECT phones with short boom mics. All headsets have an in-line volume control and mic mute, making them the right choice for a relaxed, comfortable listening and computer-gaming experience. In the U.S., the telecom line is distributed by Sennheiser Electronic Corporation under the auspices of Bill Whearty, vice president. The parent company, Sennheiser Communications A/S is a joint venture between Denmark's William Demant Holding A/S and Germany's Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KG. The new organization, headquartered in Copenhagen, develops and distributes telecommunications products worldwide, specially designed for call centers, office applications and private users. MODELS INCLUDED IN THE SENNHEISER PC HEADSET LINE ARE: PC 150: Binaural, noise-canceling, over the head PC headset (open band) $69.95 PC 140: Binaural, noise-canceling, behind the neck PC headset - $49.95 PC 130: Binaural, noise-canceling, over the head PC Headset (closed headband) - $39.95 PC 120: In-the-ear, short boom PC headset, $29.95 PC 110: Over-the-ear, full-size speaker capsule, short boom PC headset - $19.95 www.sennheiserusa.com |
