ELSA FireGL X2/T2 series videocards — on ATI FGL 9800 and FGL 9600

ELSA GmbH announced ELSA FireGL X2/T2 series of videocards, based on ATI Technology Inc., ATI FGL 9800 and FGL 9600 GPUs.

ELSA FireGL X2-256 has four parallel engines and eight pixel pipeline with 256-bit memory bandwidth and 256 MB of DDR2 SDRAM at 700 MHz. The model is intended for CAD and DCC applications.

T2 series include two models — ELSA FireGL T2-128 and ELSA FireGL T2-64 (specially designed for mini PC cases), thar are equipped winth 128 and 64 MB of memory respectively, DVI-D & VGA-outs. ELSA FireGL X2/T2 Series adopt ATI latest SMARTSHADER, SMOOTHVISION and HYPER Z III technologies. SMARTSHADER technology supports OpenGL API and Microsoft DirectX HLSL which is compatible with latest DirectX 9.0 and Pixel Shader 2.0. SMOOTHVISION technology supports full screen anti-aliasing.
