BuyMusic.com vs. iTunes Music Store
In just a few months Apple's heralded iTunes Music Store unloaded more than 6.5 million songs, convincing the music biz as well as fans that hawking music online makes sound business sense. Music Store has lots of good things going for it, but it won't be ready for Windows until the end of 2003. Recording execs salivate at the thought of locking up the Windows market, which dwarfs the Mac market by nearly 20 to 1 users.
