WinDVD Platinum 5 is InterVideo's latest version of WinDVD. WinDVD Platinum is an improvement in video and audio, and adds several brand new features. Among them are DivX support, Dolby Virtual Speaker and Video Effect, but also adds some new extras like:

Hyper-Threading Technology Support: Hyper-Threading is a new technology that allows one microprocessor to behave like a pool of processors. WinDVD Platinum 5 has been specially coded for maximum performance with Intel® P4™ chips.
