SoBig: What You Need to Know
We may well look back on these past two weeks as the moment when we finally got serious about system security. The double whammy of Blaster and now SoBig has sent hundreds of thousands of home users and many network administrators reeling as systems crash, servers collapse under the weight of a spam-like e-mail onslaught and users worry about what's coming next. It's made everyone reexamine how we protect our systems.

What is there to know? Don't open email attachments, even from people you know, unless you are COMPLETELY CERTAIN you know what it is. Even then, it's always a good idea to have some kind of AntiVirus software (that you KEEP UPDATED) check the files anyway.
In the case of Blaster, I can understand people getting infected... but with just about every other virus out there... how many times before people learn? - Me |

People never learn. If you would know how much emails i got on my DH account than you would know. I have more than 1000 in just 3 days so people please check you pc.
