- I didn't personally get to make it to this years Quakecon, but some of the PCExtreme crew did - the lucky bastards. Mycol Wahnee made the trek down to Dallas, TX this year and said it was a blast. The venue was moved to Adam's Mark Hotel in downtown Dallas this year, so the event didn't exactly go over without a hitch but overall it was a damned good time. Mycol reports that this year was the biggest turnout, but there were many an empty chair in the 2000 seat BYOC area, which was surprising.
There were multiple problems with the network - no internet access at times and the MSBlaster worm had a field day wreaking havok with PCs and clogging the network. But, in spite of the network trouble, Mycol said he had a hell of a time and had the pics to prove it. So, here is our photo album of Quakecon 2003. Enjoy!
