Lian Li PC-60H3 Mid-Tower Designer Aluminum Case Review

TweakNews has posted a review of the Lian Li PC-60H3 aluminum case. With its brushed silver look and LED lights this case is every bit appealing as Lian Li's previous cases.
  • In the enthusiast and high end computing market, no one settles for anything other than an aluminum case to wrap around their prized high performance computer. Why is that? Well, for one the weight difference is night and day. Seeing that the case is a significant contributor to overall computer weight, reducing its weight will only make it easier to transport to and from your office or a Lanparty. Secondly, with a higher performance computer, your computer probably is overclocked or just a stock screamer and with a rise in speed, you always get a rise in the emitted heat. Aluminum cases are great for efficiently dissipating some of the excess heat through through the case side and top panels. If you even lay your hand on an aluminum case, chances are it's a little warm. Why is that? It is transferring the inside heat to the outside where it can be radiated into the room air.

As one of the few pioneer companies to create and mass market the aluminum case, Lian Li Industries has always been known to have THE best high quality aluminum cases on the market. A little over a year and a half ago, I had the opportunity to review the Lian Li PC-86 Black Aluminum Computer Case and found it to be a great case. Has the quality gone down hill over time? Has the company taken the cheaper approach their new models? You will find out in this review.
