ABIT Introduces Guru – A 2nd Processor ...

"ABIT ìGuru is the first true artificial intelligence system to be integrated onto a motherboard. ABIT ìGuru is a new microprocessor designed by the ABIT Engineers for use only on ABIT motherboards and which allows end-users to reach a higher state of hardware awareness and enlightenment. ìGuru acts as a spiritual guide, sharing with ABIT users, tips for hardware monitoring, overclocking, BIOS flashing and audio tweaking functions in an easy to use, Windows-based interface. As a part of the motherboard, only ìGuru can completely understand how to optimize the motherboard for ultimate performance. What truly sets ìGuru apart is it's onboard memory that allows users to save their favorite overclocking settings for specific applications."

Yup, thats true, unfortunately something killed my Abit IT-7 Max yesterday, could have been a power surge, rebuilding over the weekend with a Fujitsu Siemens board based on an SiS chipset...eeeuugh!! Lol...was all I could afford!!

This Guru thing looks like the dogs...I will definately be buying an Abit board again soon, but maybe it'll be an Athlon 64 one this time

i am going by what you are saying.

i am after a recomended mobo to upgrade soon.

pentium 4 2.5 400fsb needed to be supported.socket 478

i also have 1024mb 266 ddr which i will be keeping but will require the support and capability to upgrade to faster modules at a later date.

can any of you give me either a link to or mobo name and model number you'd recomend by abit that will support the above?
