REVIEW: ATI Radeon 9600 XT 128mb @ Driverheaven
Its that time again, the NDA has been lifted on the 9600 XT and Driverheaven have all the information you'll need on the 9600 XT...
"On the 30th September ATI announced 2 new products, the Radeon 9800 XT and the 9600 XT. Reviews of the 9800 XT have been available on the web for since the announcement however information on the 9600 XT performance has been scarce. Today we have the opportunity to review the 9600 XT and show you just how much performance the card has." Click here for the review. Click here to discuss. |

Informative as usual, a good job again Veridian.
Any news on the pricing of this V.card? ~ $180 looks like a good entry for ATI newbies

Thanks for the review. This just got me to get rid of this old rickety 8500 128. :P

Good job on the review as expected!
Well I must say that the XT does shine over the Pro......however it also probably saved me from upgrading to anything below a 9800 Pro as long as my 9500 np lives on

This makes me feel better about my buying my Radeon 9800 non-pro. I was right when I thought that it was improbable that the 9600xt could be as fast as a 9700pro, and I am glad. Although it is a pain to find a place that sells a 9800np though... But half-life 2 is a nice addition to the 9600xt oh well I guess I can just buy it when it comes to the stores. Whenever that is.
