Special Invite To All DriverHeaven Members From AMD!

Phillip Stein from AMD has recently informed me of a special invite to all of our DH members here. For a week starting today all DH members have a chance to play Team AMD on the official Americas Army Server that AMD has!
Here is the E-mail from Phillip with all the details:

TeamAMD would like to invite all of your members to hop on to our official TeamAMD Army Server to be slaughtered ahhh... I meant to have some fun :-). If they already have the game just open it up, click on deployment, set your filter to just show the map River_Basin and you should see the TeamAMD Army Server.

If not, our server ip address is aao.teamamd.com anyone can open the console once they start the game and then type in open aao.teamamd.com.

I look forward to seeing some of your members online. Make sure they have a Driver Heaven [DH] tag on their name so we know who they are, not a big deal I am sure they will be the ones that are always dead anyway :-) (Joking) I have got to believe you have at least 1 or 2 good players.

So guys feel free to join up any time and take your shot at Team AMD! I would love to see as many of you from DH there as possible!

UPDATE For the first 5 DH members who get on an play on the Team Amd Americas Army server they get a free AMD 64 T-shirt. Also the top 5 Players for the week will recieve a AMD 64 T-shirt as well. Now remember you have to be a member here at DH and when you join put the DH tag on your name in the server. So we will know who to get these shirts to!

Is this America's Army..the one you can get for free?

If so, I tried it and could never get some of the things working right. AND, for one thing, there's no captioning. That doesn't help me at all since I'm nearly deaf.

HERE is some more info on Team AMD! It should help you guys! There will be a small giveaway as well with this invite. Look for it shortly as it will be updated!

Thanks! I'll have to install and crank it up again. Some of what I saw looked really good. If it comes to it, I'll start a 'Help Dyre with America's Army' thread in the gaming forum.

Our new site will be going live this week, the one that is linked now is old. Check out the beta site Here It is basically done just adding some finishing touches.

You can also download Americas Army there as well. We have 6 allowed downloads at a time with 50KBs dedicated to each one. Wish I could give more BW but need it for website, Team Speak, Game Server and so on.

1.9 is the newest and you can go to the download link on our website. I gave a link in my last post to our new site that is getting ready to go live.

I have v. 1.90 downloading presently from FileShack @ 100KB/Sec.....plus or minus.

At present it's another hour and a half to get it. I'll be in a meeting at that time. But, I'll be sure to install it when I get back.

How do you suggest we set up with the DH tag? I put that in the Team option when I registered.
