Default Post Nvidia Detonator 30.30 W9x/ME/2K/XP Leaked!

The new Detonator version 30.30 leaked on the web for all Windows Operating Systems. I wonder if these are the killer drivers all Nvidia users have been waiting for...

Anyhow, these drivers are dated: 06/14/2002.

Only a 149 frame increase Mark3D 2001se.

GForce3 200 ti
Not the big increase that was talked about.
Who knows as the play with these drivers, the bench marks should increase.

Will have to play a few games to see how they stand up and look.

Thats not trivial... for a driverset that has been out for years... a 149 point increase (simply with a fix) is pretty impressive. Thats about 1/5th of a k

A significant increase... yes.

Word has it that this driver build improves:

- Alpha Blending
- and fixes the slow performance in WindowFX's state transition. The new drivers now fully accelerate all of the Direct3D effects in WindowFX 2.0.

It may be just me but to fix my refresh rate, I only had to adjust it in the windows
properties. Is it possible they fixed that in this build?

Default Post Hmm... odd.

Even after uninstalling the latest Omega drivers before I installed the latest Nvidia drivers I still have these extra tabs in my "Additional Properties". Are these supposed to be here still or were they supposed to be removed with the Omega drivers?

Default Post I hope they ain't Det 5!

They're the usual 1-3% increase all around for me. A bit better image quality, a bit better speed; but nothing dramatic. (Jeeze, am I getting spoiled & jaded or what?)

What I want to know is why nVidia is so hot to have them yanked from everywhere...and what all this "openGL 1.4 support in nVidia really soon" talk I've been hearing today is about.

I started a thread to invent a wild-assed rumor about it to spread all over the web here.

Default Post Sticking to Omega's

These drivers aren't any better on my Ti4400 than the 29.42 or 29.80 drivers and I actually lost FPS in some of my games.
