Still don't have Max Payne 2 - The Fall of Max Payne?

Read up on what yet another reviewer has to say....and see some great screenshots.

Here's a little snippet:

"Max Payne 2 adds a little more to the magic of the first game, although it retains the same core gameplay and storytelling tactics. The graphics engine is more polished, with more special effects for realistic rain, lighting, and explosions. A new underlying physics engine powers everything from falling bodies to flying debris, making the entire experience more lifelike and interactive. And the narrative splits at times, telling the story from multiple angles and allowing you to play as more than one character.

Although it's lacking in length and replayability, Max Payne 2 is one of the most memorable action titles this year...... Many gamers will be able to slam through it in a weekend, but it'll be one hell of a roller-coaster, plot-twisting, bullet-dodging couple of days."

I'm just wondering why the keep on doing things like comparing games to movies in reviews (as they did with the first one as well) Are they unaware that move theater's rip us off horribly? Deals are not relative... Bah I will not rant, but that idea bothers em almost as much as the games being short.

20 hours should be minimum. 10 hours minimum to complete the game without doing any of the 'icing'. That way you can have be fulfilled being the action freak or being the explorer.

Since 3D gaming came about, most gamers have been wanting their games to simulate movie-like action. Since this type of game has a plot, story, and action, I'd say comparing it to a movie is a good thing.
