Ahh yeah i'm for real, when i decided to enter this comp there were 10 cards to giveaway.
What happened to the other 5 cards...., im sure it's illegal... although i wouldn't take it any further cause im not that kind of person.
Though im sure there should be supplement prizes due to the false advertisement of the comp.
EDIT: Even the page that advertised the comp still has "multiple winners" for each group and says 10 cards to giveaway, go figure.

I would like to give my congrat's to the winners in the Modding and Desktop Image competition's. You guy's made one hell of an effort in a contest that was fierce in competition. I am sure that picking the winner's in the Image contest was very hard.

Actually I hate to give you air time here due to your attitude but I really do take this as being quite offensive, firstly when ATI first started the competition it WAS intended they were going to give us 10 cards and Rage3d 10 cards. ATI found out they didnt have 10 cards to give to us. This is not our fault. If you are seeking compensation for your failure to win anything then I suggest you email Chris Hook chook@ati.com with your grievances. Secondly as you are being so pedantic with this if you read the top paragraph of the competition page www.hardwareheaven.com/articles/italian%20job/ you will see it states

"we snatched a bag of previously unreleased ATI cards and this month we are offering our half of the samples to the Driverheaven members. Only 20 of these cards were EVER made."

It nowhere states of those 20 cards all of them were given to us or other sites, it merely states we are giving away half of our samples, the amount was never stated.

If you are feeling foul play then I suggest and strongly recommend you email chook@ati.com and he can confirm we have indeed only received 5 cards, if I see you posting in here again with more comments in the vein you did above ill be removing your posts and suspending your account. This is a celebratory thread so I suggest you lighten up and congratulate the winners.

Its no wonder Zardon has taken a back seat with this site.

but now I wonder... what kind of card did they get? I don't know if people can say it, haven't been following DH-forum activity.... so...... My guess is a Radeon 8500 TX/XT (forget what it was)
the higher clocked version of the 8500

or ofcourse the R250, but if my memeory is right, this WAS the TX/XT

a few weeks ago, I got the ATI price. Ist was a Radeon 9000 mobile

Haven't tried it, Oppainter has it also in the corner

I have hoped for something usefull
