Apple G5 Ads Banned In UK

"The Independent Television Commission has quietly banned Apple from airing an advertisement (in QuickTime here) for the Power Mac G5 in the UK. The Committee says that, prior to the initial broadcast of the ad, it was critical of the assertion that the Power Mac G5 is "the world's fastest, most powerful personal computer."

Oh yes

- took them long enough to ban those ads - It was claiming complete and utter tripe. An Athlon XP 2500 will beat the G5 in things like games and other things, the only thing that the G5 has an edge on over PCs is photoshop editing - that's designed for MAC and is faster than even a dual Xeon 3.06GHz machine.

and if you want the truth....

FACT: apple has and does pay millions $$$.$$$.$$ to ADOBE to make the mac versions diffrent / better than the pc counter parts other wise they would be the same software, same options, same capabilites!!!!!!! and pc would still is and will be faster and better in photoshop editing .... less what apple paid for to be added to the mac versions....
