This software prevents Windows Messenger from remaining an active process. Windows Messenger is aggressively pushed by Windows XP and Outlook Express. Depending on your configuration, it may even run and log you in yet hide its system tray notification icon. With this small freeware application, you need not have to worry if it has loaded in the background and logged you in.

You can do this with X-Setup too. I have done it with X-Setup for a long time.
